Come join the Differentiated Arts Program after school!
Our Differentiated Arts Afterschool Program (D’Arts) returns from Tuesday, October 5, 2021 -- Thursday, March 31, 2022.
Invitations to participate were sent to students who demonstrate high effort and achievement in one or more of the visual and performing arts. Participants will have a chance to share their work with the entire community during our end-of-year D’Arts Alive performance and art show.
D’Arts will run in parallel to PUSH, our Academic Afterschool Program, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:45 until 4:45. The final day of all afterschool programming is March 31, 2022. All students will have a snack and recess period during the two-hour block of arts instruction. Bus transportation is provided if you live in the school attendance zone.
Lady’s Island Elementary is excited to announce the second year of the Lady’s Island Chapter of the National Elementary Honor Society. NEHS is modeled on its companion organization, the National Honor Society (NHS), which is the nation’s oldest and best-known student recognition program. NEHS was founded in 2008 by the National Association of Secondary School Principals, which is also the parent organization for NHS, in partnership with the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) Foundation.
